1. Box Setup: The box will be set up as follows
   A. 3 yoyos for trade (exception below)
   B. Individual goodies
   C. Participation gift
2. YoYo Value Guidelines: The box will be classified as follows:
   A. Iron
      1. Acceptable Retail Mint Value: $15-25
      2. Acceptable Damage:                No more than 4 Dings, 2 per half
      3. Acceptable Vibe:                Finger Grind/Plastic
   B. Bronze
      1. Acceptable Retail Mint Value: $25-50
      2. Acceptable Damage:                No more than 3 Dings, 2 per half
      3. Acceptable Vibe:                Finger Grind/Plastic
   C. Silver
      1. Acceptable Retail Mint Value: $50-75
      2. Acceptable Damage:                No more than 1 single Dings or a matching set of dings
      3. Acceptable Vibe:                Finger Grind/Plastic
   D. Gold
      1. Acceptable Retail Mint Value: $75-100
      2. Acceptable Damage:                Only minor Pinpricks or Scuffs or Scratches
      3. Acceptable Vibe:                Minor Fingernail
   E. Platinum
      1. Acceptable Retail Mint Value: $100+
      2. Acceptable Damage:                No more than 1 Scuff/Scratch
      3. Acceptable Vibe:                Minor Fingernail
   F. Make sure to adjust the retail value if your yoyo has damage or vibe. A $50 retail yoyo with a ding is NOT Silver Tier.
   G. There may be variations to this and will be specified on the sign up sheet.
3. Take one, Leave one:
   A. Keep only one yoyo and replace it with a yoyo that meets or exceeds value guidelines.
   C. Exception: Pairs of yoyos:
      1. The pair is for 2A or 3A.
      2. The pair meets the value guidelines.
      3. Please package these together or include a note that clearly states the pair is to be treated as one.
4. Goodies: This is a gift for your recipient.
   A. Please create a Goodie bag or box. This is to help limit confusion if you are a gifting a yoyo or other skill toy. It should clearly be separated from trading throws.
      1. For a dollar value think $5 and up. To follow the Secret Santa analogy think inexpensive stocking stuffers.
      2. Gift ideas are a couple of strings, candy of some sort, a small gift, and a note.   
   B. If there are items in your goodies you don’t want, then re-gift them.
5. Participation gift: Take one and leave the rest.
6. Recording Box Contents:
   A. Everyone is required to take a picture of the the 3 yoyos received, the 3 yoyos shipped, and the kept yoyo.
      1. The 2 pictures of the 3 yoyos will be emailed to [email protected].
         a. These images will only be viewed if there are value issues with the box
      2. Post the kept yoyo picture in the Throw it Forward Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/353455325210573/)
   B. Otherwise, do NOT share contents of the box with anyone.
   C. Only other exception would be with admin, but ask before sharing...we all like mystery.
7. Packaging:
   A. Yoyos should be assembled and boxed or wrapped.
   B. Replace shipping box as necessary for sturdiness and size.
   C. Try and keep the base weight under 2 lbs.
      1. I hate to curb anyone’s givingness, but keep participation gifts limited to small items.
      2. Keep in mind the cost of shipping for future participants.
   D. Try and choose a box where no side is over 12”.
8. Shipping: Ship to the next person within 3 days!
   A. You must ship priority
      1. This is the cheapest option if package weighs over a pound.
      2. Insurance is required and the amount is based on box classification:
         a. Iron requires $50 and the cost included in shipping.
         b. Bronze requires $50 and the cost included in shipping.
         c. Silver requires $100 and the cost is an additional $2.70.
         d. Gold requires $200 and the cost is an additional $3.40.
         e. Platinum requires $300 and the cost is an additional $4.50.
   B. Please send tracking number to your recipient.
   C. PSA: Use www.paypal.com/shipnow to save a little on shipping.
   D. PSA: Flat Rate Shipping https://www.usps.com/ship/priority-mail.htm 
      1. If you walk in to USPS a Medium box is $13.65 up to 70 lbs (This is scheduled to increase to $14.35). With Paypal it is $12.80.
   E. PSA: Shipping increases with each pound after the first. So a 1 lb 1 oz box is the same as a 1 lb 10 oz box (This was accurate as of 1/1/19)
9. Privacy: Do not share anyone’s personal information with other participants.
10. Reputation: To help avoid unsavory ethics one of the following conditions must be met to participate:
   A. You were a honest participant in a previous TiF box.
   B. At least 2 people in the facebook Yoyo BST community must vouch for you.
   C. A deposit (price based on box tier) will be made to the admin before the box is shipped to you. You will be refunded when the box is verified by you recipient.
      1. This deposit will be made through PayPal as a Friends and Family gift.
      2. If you don’t trust the admin, don’t participate.
11. Violation of Rules: Punishment may result in...
   A. Public Shaming.
   B. Loss of reputation.
   C. Temporary block of participation in boxes.
   D. Permanent block from future boxes and group.
12. Fun: the whole point is for this to be a fun interaction in our awesome little community!
